The Our Savior Gala is a fundraising event with a goal of raising $20,000. It is a fun evening of fellowship with a plated dinner, games, friends, silent auction and live auction opportunities. We would love to see you there and feel free to invite your friends, too.

• Your $30 ticket includes appetizers and dinner (champagne chicken, roast beef or vegetarian). You can include tickets for beer/wine at the time of purchase. Childcare is available for $5 per child. You can also purchase a table of 8 for $225.

• What to wear? Dress can be casual, business casual or dressing the period of the 20’s … anything goes.

• A dance? We thought it would be fun if anyone wanted to learn some dance moves from the 20’s to have the opportunity to show them off. And if there are takers, a little contest to find the best dancer(s). This will be a very brief part of our evening. 

• NEW! Stop at the photo booth with some friends and take a fun picture and go home with a photo from the evening.

The Gala will raise fund for projects that will benefit our ministries:

• As the Early Childhood Center grows, we are looking to expand to two toddler classrooms to be able to serve more children in our community and share the love of Jesus. This would involve a bathroom remodeling and some additional storage solutions.

• The Gym/Community Center is growing dim and needs a lighting upgrade to properly light the room for Our Savior School students, Church events and activities and gym rentals from our community.

• God’s Guys ministry actively supports the Young Adults of our congregation with mailings and care packages and also financially contributes to Youth Mission Trips

• The Youth Room could use some renovation to improve the functionality of the space and give them more room. 

There are several fun games you can take part in:

• NEW! Pick a Card: There will be 52 chances to purchase a playing card ($10 purchased the night of the Gala) The winning card drawn will receive a $100 Scrip Certificate (to be redeemed for any Gift Card that Scrip sells).

• Heads or Tails Bead Game: Buy beads for more opportunities to play ($5 sold in advance or the night of the Gala). When the coin is tossed and heads or tails is announced you either stay standing because you picked correctly or remove a set of beads and stay in the game. The more beads, the more chances. The last player standing will win a gift package to local businesses valued at $100.

• Table Trivia: Each table should collectively respond to the trivia questions during dinner (without the help of Google 🙂). The table to answer the most questions correctly will receive a $50 bonus for their dessert dash.  

• Dessert Dash: We have many yummy desserts coming from area restaurants and bakeries. Each bidder will have the opportunity to donate an amount for their dessert.  The table bids are combined and the highest collective bid will receive first rights to the dessert table. You will have a 15 second head start to your next closest competitor.  Enjoy your dessert!

Silent and Live Auction

• Silent Auction: Everyone (attending or not attending) can bid on items online. Bidding will begin midweek of the Gala and conclude the night of the event. The link you will receive can be shared with anyone who might want to bid, too! Silent Auction items include gift baskets, restaurant gift cards, activities, shows, experiences for individuals and/or kids, some outings for larger groups and much more. There is truly something for everyone!

• Live Auction items can only be bid on by those who are attending the Gala. Watch for more details on what we will be offering!
